And it rained AGAIN

As you've probably heard - we've had the wettest June in the U.K since records began in 1910 and it looks as if July's going to be the same too with a whole month's worth of rain in one day - yesterday!!!

So, because of that I was mainly 'trapped' in the house which is the worst thing that could happen to me.  In the end I settled to 'play' on the computer.  I decided to change the favicon on my sites.

Favicon?  Did I hear somebody ask what that was?  Well it's the tiny, tiny picture that sits at the top of your page above the browser bar.  You can see what I'm talking about in the picture at the bottom - you can see my blog site and web site with the favicons next to the title.  Here's the favicon as it was generated - isn't it SMALL?
They're really easy to make - just google 'favicon generator' and follow the instructions.  Great fun and a better way to pass a miserable day than doing the dreaded H word!!!

Oh, by the way, it's going to rain again today!!!

It's raining here again, with a red warning this morning, and a lot more to come, web feet growing and getting ready to become a duck.
Have a nice weekend and try to stay dry.

Better move all your thread to the top of the house in case it floods!
I love being at home when the weather's bad - but we have our wet season in summer - winter's absolutely glorious. I'm outside a lot more then!

Sky news even featured Stratford-upon-Avon this morning, so I thought of you! Oh dear, everyone needs rain, but sounds as though you're getting too much of a good thing.

You're tired of rain. We're tired of hot and dry... 100 yesterday, no rain since my birthday. Isn't there some way we can swap?

Thanks for the info on the favicon... not sure if I'll get around to it, but it's good information to keep tucked away for a rainy day. ; )

I would give anything for some of your rain. We just set a record of 10 straight days of temps exceeding 100 degrees F. I think we will bust the 13 day mark but not the 18 day mark this year.

I have been doing websites for years but didn't quite know how they did that icon. Thanks for the information. I always enjoy going to your site for inspiration on patterns.

Raining in the south of England too Jane, I think we may just float into the sea soon!
I wondered how you generalted a favcion. Now the next decision is to know what picture use!

Would love to have rain. It is so hot 100+ in Iowa and the rest of the US. We would love to have some rain. Good news is next week should be in the 80's.

I love your new favicon! I noticed it immediately, and came to comment on it before even reading your post :-)

Sorry about the too-much rain. But up with the creativity, I say!
