Taffy earrings

I must first apologise if I haven't made sense over the past few days but I've had an invasion of small people who are totally delightful but tiring.  I'm hoping that 'normal blogging' will now be resumed after today when they go home!!!

Having made the last pendant to match the button earrings I decided to break out my all time Lizbeth thread - Rainbow Taffy.  I've no idea who thought that name up but it's as cheerful and bright as the thread itself.  I just love this one.  So, today I have a pair of button earrings to show you using Rainbow Taffy.  Don't they look fabulous?

I love rainbow taffy, this is the colour thread that someone brought a heart from my demo last Sunday to show the lace makers guild she belongs to and she is going to take it along at the next meeting and show them the pretty thread. She had never seem such pretty thread before.

I'm not sure which I like more... the name or the earrings! Now I have a craving for salt water taffy, and it's a little too early in the morning for candy.

I too am a fan of the Rainbow Taffy. I found some at Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago in size 80 and had a mini party in the aisle way. I didn't buy any, I was just excited to see it.
The earrings are lovely :o)

They look like candy -- yummy. The beads just add to the thread. I think I need to buy some new thread -- I don' have any of that color!

Yes, they are fabulous. I enjoy seeing Lizbeth done up. Sometimes just looking at the flyer doesn't do it justice.

Those are great earrings. I think of you every morning as I put on “P” earrings and get ready for the day. You must be almost ready to fly over the pond. Have missed you...wish I could SEE you but know I won’t get to do that...but my spirit is with you and a big hug too. bev aka Ridgewoman

I love the range of thread colours available, and the rainbow taffy makes a wonderful statement, beyond the colour and white variagated thread available at my local craft store...I feel some impulse online craft shopping coming on! Thanks for sharing Jane :D
