What do you think?

This row of the mat is now finished but I think it needs another!!!  In fact I think this is worse than when it was naked!!!!  Do you like my background?  It's the grass in our garden.  I say 'grass'  as opposed to 'lawn' as we don't 'do' posh and it's a bit raggedy in places.  I'm fighting the dandelions at the moment too!!!

So, off to find another row somewhere inside my tiny brain!!!  I'll give it a whirl and then ask for opinions.

The weather has turned out really well at the moment so the filet crochet curtains are progressing at a good rate.  More on this another day.

Well, I did suggest two rows!! - and it's looking beautiful, don't put it away in your box, this one needs to be on display somewhere.

Yes, I think it does need a more substantial 'frame'. Or none at all.

It looks beautiful as it is, but I would be tempted to add another row or two. I always think of using odd numbers in gardening, and this looks like a beautiful garden to me!

I like how the outside frame follows the curves of the motifs!! :)

Might I suggest an outer row in your favorite, Rainbow Taffy?

I like it the way it is! Or without the border.

I see another row, or two. And I see a bit more at the corners so that the whole things isn't so "square" and boxy. Just my thought. If it's not a blanket it doesn't have to be perfectly straight on the sides does it?
I'll be waiting to see what BC3 comes up with!

Beautiful. I like the green white space. Great background. At least one and maybe two more rows would look good. And I like Picotsnkeys idea. Karen in Or

I vote for a second row — a very thin one in white or yellow.
