I have another like this but until then I'd never seen one. This style (metal) must've bypassed me back whenever.
I started off with the Milliards shuttle as they were readily available in all haberdashery and knitting/sewing shops - even in our small town. BUT I never came across these metal ones 'back then'. So, I now have two in my collection. I'll try test driving this one soon.

I have one like that. It's the one I asked the silversmith to copy for me. So I have two, sort of.
I have one as well! - but have never used it. Somehow I always worry about metal shuttles being too rough on the thread.
Now I want to search for a metal Aero shuttle! I really don't need any more shuttles, but I am tempted.
Lucky you, great treasures. I love the feel of vintage shuttles, although I haven't planned it I seem to be getting quite a collection.
It appears this is a post shuttle? Very unusual to see a metal Aero shuttle, whether post or bobbin!
