Another pattern done.

I thought it was about time I showed you the other pattern I've submitted to the Fringe for their Tat Days in September.

This started out as another idea but ended up like this!!! I'm quite pleased with it and will share it on my pattern site when I get back home in October. Well, I will if I remember!!!

Oh, that's lovely! Are those broomstick picots? I learned to do those last September at Tat Days; they are fascinating.

No, briddie, I don't think so!!!!! Never heard of broomstick picots!!!

Martha Ess uses them for her star: http://palmettotatters.org/events/TatDays2016/Teachers/Martha_BroomstickStar.jpg On her blog she says they are reminiscent of broomstick lace. http://marthas-tatting-blog.blogspot.com/2013/05/broomstick-lace-tatting.html.

Thanks, briddie. Mine are just very long picots but I guess they could be called that!!!!

I love that heart and those long picots - I always did think broomstick lace was so . . . dainty? Or fragile or something. It adds some texture maybe. In any case, I have to try that! And, you have some of my favorite fabric - I have it in multiple colors :) I'm hoarding iwhat's left for the "perfect" thing.
