Thank you earrings

Remember all the findings and 'things' I was given? Here they are.  Well the person who handed them to me told me that the lady who'd donated them loved purple.

Amongst the earring bits and bobs were purple shepherd's crook findings so they had to be pulled out to make the following.

Of course that took hours and hours as it's not easy to do such fiddly designs when you've nothing to start from. Not sure I'll do another pair just yet but if I do I've written down the pattern!!! I doubt anybody else would be foolish enough to want to do a pair like this!!

Wow, those are fabulous, well worth the fiddle. Great thank you gift.

They are lovely , and you are wrong. Marilee Rockley has a pattern on the same idea but she tats the entire thing and uses Catherine Wheel Join to join center to outer chain.
You always amazed me what BC3 comes up with!

I think they are lovely. I would certainly wear them. She will be very happy with the earrings.

Ah, TAT19540 - IF I get round to doing the pattern properly I'd start with the top ring then do a split ring to take me to the bottom motif. Would love to see Marilee's version. As I wanted to add beads to the outer rings I used a 'normal' join (I think!). All worked directly onto the metal which proved a little problematic at times!!!

Those are awesome!!!!! :)
I just got some teardrop shaped earring findings like that and have been thinking about a design. You have inspired me!! Now to find time to work on them.
