Round six is finished.
Can you see what I mean about row 6 and how it finishes off the whole doily? This was a lovely doily to make.
Once Tim has given me the 'go ahead' I'll put it on my site. It's now called Beatrix after Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands. The original designer hadn't given this beauty a name, sadly.

Won't be too long I hope. I do have a couple other irons in the fire, but I am finishing round 3 and probably start 4 tomorrow.
Yours is wonderful in white. I am using a color, but I always liked a white doily. I suppose because they accent wood so well.
Oh, it does look white, Tim, but it’s not!! It’s a sort of cream rose colour. I think the black background has made it look white!!! No hurry on finishing - I’ve still got to play with links etc and give it another read through. You only have to do one or two repeats on round six anyway to check it out!!!! Thanks a million for doing this.

Hi, Unknown. I need to finish the pattern off (put in links, images etc) and my test tatter is still working on it too. It will be written and illustrated as usual. As soon as that is done I’ll upload it to my pattern site and announce it here on the blog. It’s an old pattern done by a nun in a monastery in Amsterdam so has taken a fair bit of translating and sorting out!!! If you want more of the nun’s patterns please google Jane Eborall Tatting.
