Lots more patterns!!!

Sorry, not mine this time but look what arrived yesterday - the Palmetto Tatters CD of all the patterns from last Tat Days.  Now, where do I start?

Sadly, nowhere at the moment as I'm having a TIAS crisis.  Well, more than one, it seems.

First of all I'd got a pattern ready and was about to 'chop it up' when I saw that somebody had done something along the same lines.  Now there wouldn't have been a copyright problem with it as mine was a lot different but it put me off continuing.

So off I went on another idea.  This one has proved a nightmare.  I like how it's looking and it's not complicated (mainly SR's and 2 SCMR's) but it's a much longer one than I usually do.  Thing is - would you all be prepared to tat a longer TIAS?  If not I'll just finish it and put it on the pattern page.

It's a design I've been asked to do several times so I know it'll be acceptable.  I suppose I'm sort of in the doldrums with it at the moment!!!  It's also taking a long time to draw and check too.  It'll be another week or so before I can get it ready for the 'big chop'!!!!  Please let me know if you think a longer pattern would be OK.

The previous TIAS projects have taken about 10 days, haven't they? - I don't think it would matter at all, having it a bit longer than that, but I suppose the trick will be to keep everyone guessing until almost the end - otherwise it will lose it's impact.

I think it would be fine being longer. I also agree with what Maureen has said. I love your TIAS's. It come's at thee right time just after Christmas when we are feeling down after all the rushing to get thing's done for Christmas.

Hi Jane,
No problem for me I think you are with brain cell 3 together clever enough to keep the secret and of course as long as you let us know that there was a good answer we still must wait till the end.
I think the Dutch tatters will like it

I would happily tat for longer Jane :):)

I have no problem with it being a little longer. It can take a few more days or the sections to do can be a little longer. Either way is good.

I don't think it matters if it takes a few more days it's the fun of doing it that matters, not the length of time.

I love all your TIAS. It really doesn't matter if it is long or short.

I don't care how long it last I love the TIAS. I got my Palmetto Tatting CD a while back and started with the slipper. Hard to decided where to start,

By all means make it longer! It's always a bit of a letdown when it ends, so keep it going as long as you can! I do agree with previous comments about making sure you keep us guessing till the end, though.

Longer is just peachy with me -- I could guess what I'm doing for months and still be happy. :)

Stinker I thought about getting that cd for you! You are hard to surprise just have to work on it.
2weeks with a couple of weekends is good length. Because I get busy longer time in between works for me.

Totally YES - the longer the TIAS, the longer the fun lasts! Go for it!

Bigger sections each day or more pattern bits to tat, either one is fine with me. Sounds wonderful already!

Yes, a longer TIAS works for me, that way the suspense and fun lasts longer.

Longer is fine by me. If I can keep up, great! If not, I'll just have another pretty pattern to try when I have time!

Longer is good. I'm always sad when it ends, because I enjoy it so much.
