Dora Young's doily progress

This is where I was 'at' when I got home from my travels.

I'm now wondering if I'll continue with this project when I've completed this  current round - I'm enjoying it a lot.

The beauty of this is that it's so easy when you get into the swing of it. I also need to finish off a snowflake that's been lurking on my computer since August (along with a few other 'possibles') which need to be sorted.

I've also got a lovely little car that needs to be finished and uploaded too plus the Coriolis and the butterflies I taught at Tat Days.

Whoever invented 24 hours in a day should be held responsible for that silly decision and the other which makes our bodies need sleep so we can't continue doing things we want to do.

Whirling, whirling.

Ooo, a car! I have been knitting and crocheting things with wheels for my 18 month old grandson
I will be able to put tatted cars on a t shirt for him. I've made him two car jumpers and am just finishing a car rug

Your doily is mesmerizing! Too many things to do, too few hours in the day... I guess we have to deal with it!

That looks really interesting Jane! For some reason it draws one in. I know you usually don't display your work, but this one might need a different destination than your bin of finished items.

Those put me in mind of the old "Hyno-disk". Are you trying to hypnotize us, Jane?

Yes it’s mesmerising to work this pattern. So easy once the brain has been trained.
Maureen I’ll get the car finished over the weekend - promise!!!
Quite right, Diane!! Not enough time!!!
Ladytats - I may well keep this out of the box when it’s done. Maybe and perhaps!!!
Hypo-disk, Tim? Off to google that!!!

I vote for a 30 hour day. I would work much more efficiently if I could take breaks often, but there's no time to lollygag!

I meant hypnodisk. I can't type.
