In the evenings and when I'm not knitting I'm continuing with the Coats mat which I started back here.
I'm using size 40 thread and I'm not sure I'm going to have enough. I'm also not sure I even like what I'm doing either!!!!

It is a teaser of a pattern. Hate starting something then thinking I won't have enough thread. Puts you right off! I started this one in 2015 and it got shelved. Sadly I didn't write down what thread I was using at the time so no chance of matching it now. Could you perhaps find a couple of striking colours to do the band rounds and leave the circle parts in the colour you started with?
That’s a possibility but it would mean buying more thread and I’ve promised myself that I’ve got to use what I’ve already got before I’m allowed to buy anymore!!!! I have another plan afoot!!!!
I like the motif and the thread colour.
