I’d really like to try my hand @ these but I can’t figure out how to add the large bead. When I take both threads through doesn’t it mean that my shuttles stay at the top?
Hi wickedtats - you have to unwind the shuttle which should only have a yard or less of thread on and the other short end should be left until needed for the second SR. Take both threads through the bead or beads if you're using small ones too and then add the beads required for the next SR. I think I've put it on the pattern. TAT19540 - there are two ways I use to finish off the ends. One way is just to take both ends through the small beads and tie a knot. I usually use a 'dab' of glue on something like this as it won't be washed! The other way is to take the threads separately back through all but the last small bead. I'll draw a picture for my blog for tomorrow to show you!!

You have such great color choices! :)
Very nice. Question though, how do you finish the end so there is no thread dangling?
