Latest project

This is what I've just finished.  I do like to have a simple project on the go so that when I get foxed by a design I can go and do that.

This is one that really grabbed my interest - I was going to keep it for when we are on holiday but it just kept calling me to get it finished!!!!

I used the tiger eye number 80 from Yarnplayer that Ridgetatter sent me.  Love that thread.

The plain thread is an old Coats that I've had since the dinosaurs roamed the earth.  The pattern?  I'll leave you to guess!!!!

Oooo Jane, this is lovely! I would never have thought to put the tiger's eye on a hanky, but it looks so pretty!

What a unusual colour and it is absolutely stunning!

I agree it is stunning. I don't believe I've seen that pattern before, but I'll admit to having been out of the loop for a while and my book collection hasn't been updated in even longer. I see a lot of second shuttle rings, SCMRs, and places where you must have used the shoe lace trick to get the colors in the correct places. It is an intriguing pattern. Do tell!

Hi Eliz - the pattern is from brain cell 3!!!! It might eventually get onto the pattern page. It's a pretty fast one to work and great fun. I really want to try it in other colour combos too!!!
