Well here it is in all its glory. On probably the hottest day of the year, so far, I finished it!!!
BUT - I have a problem, Houston!!! More next week, probably.

Good idea but I thought another scarf would be a better present and would be easier to do while I’m chatting at the craft groups!!!
Looks great! I can see the nice zig zag pattern now in the sunlight. Summer is the right time to knit a scarf.
The scarf turned out great! It's ok during the summer too. We have a saying in Romania: build a carriage during the winter and a sleigh during the summer.
And oh, no, I hope the problem is easy to fix.

Love this scarf. the pattern really brings out the color changes.
If the problem is more of the same yarn, then maybe an earwarmer/headband. Knit it like a scarf & then join it to make a loop?
The scarf is gorgeous. The zigzag really looks nice, and it's a beautiful color. If you wait to knit a scarf when it's COLD, you won't enjoy it as much - you'll be too busy freezing and wishing it were DONE already. Knitting 'cold weather' items in the summer is the perfect time to do it - you can enjoy the process instead of being 'desperate' for the finished product so you can get warm. :)

I have another full ball of the same yarn, Sewicked but I want to make another scarf. Not the same, though!!! Time to go pattern surfing!!!
